PLYMOUTH PORT

The historical Port of Plymouth is located at the mouth of the River Tamar and is the premier port of South West England. It's commercial part, Millbay Docks is owned and operated by Associated British Ports, Britain's largest ports group. As well as having a large modern passenger Terminal and extensive vehicle-marshalling areas to ease the flow of traffic, the Port provides modern berthing facilities for the many cruise ships which call here. Ideally situated for passengers coming from the West of England and Wales, Plymouth Port offers Brittany Ferries sailings to France and Spain.

The A38 Devon Expressway links Plymouth to the M5 at Exeter. The port's geographical advantages ensure it is well placed to continue to serve European trade and tourist routes.
